Resuscitation & Rescue

Regulation 5 of the Confined Spaces Regulations requires that no one should enter or work in a confined space unless there are emergency arrangements in place that are appropriate for the level of risk involved in the task/space. These should include making provision for extracting workers from the confined space and making provision for first-aid equipment (including resuscitation equipment) where the need can be foreseen.

We offer a full range of rescue equipment and oxygen therapy units to enable evacuation of your casualty. All of the equipment selected for rescue purposes should fulfil the criteria detailed in your risk assessment. The use of oxygen delivered into a confined space should be assessed on an individual basis as delivering pure oxygen into a potentially explosive area may create an increased explosive risk.

We are able to provide other forms of rescue equipment which may not be listed so please contact us on 01404 43000 / 01404 44007 if you do not see the items you require.
