MARS II Resuscitator
The MARS II is the latest emergency resuscitator from GCE. It allows a number of options so that you can order specifically to suit your environment. MARS II meets the requirements of ISO 10651-5:2006 and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines for Resuscitation 2010 for ventilatory resuscitators. The MARS II is available in all regional gas-standards. MARS II can be used for children (20 kg), small adults and adults. MARS II CM1 industrial unit covers all options for the resuscitation of large adult casualties and has the automated function to allow for oxygen to be delivered whilst ensuring safety by having an audible alarm if the airways get blocked. The MARS II CM3 offers the same automated features but provides cover for all 3 sizes of patient.
The MARS II is the ideal answer for resuscitation and therapy for any mobile rescue response team, industrial or full medical response. The device can be used in confined spaces, low oxygen / toxic environments but care should be taken if the space is Ex rated.

Mars Resuscitator
The MARS Resuscitator ensures that the operator does not have to make judgments on the lung capacity of the patient to select the tidal volume, this is instead done by simply selecting the basic size or type of patient being cared for. Once the unit has been set the MARS Resuscitator will control both tidal volume and pulse frequency within the parameters laid down in the British Standards.
Even if the wrong setting is selected there is no risk of over inflating the patient’s lungs. The Mars Resuscitator always ‘fails safe’ and will vent excess gas whilst giving the operator an audible warning that the equipment is not being used correctly.
The unit we show is the MARS Standard Kit with demand valve and trigger (100 l/min flow), control module (3 settings – Adult/Medium/Child). Pin index regulator with 11 setting constant flow (1 – 23 l/min). ‘Square’ carry bag, masks and head harness.
All MARS Resuscitators require an oxygen cylinder for operation which is an extra.

EASE II
The EASE II demand valve is a robust and compact device that allows patients to self-administer their medical gas therapy. EASE II can be used to deliver a mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen (more commonly known as ENTONOX,LIVOPAN, OXYNOX, MEOPA, KALINOX) as pain relief or as medical oxygen therapy. The EASE II demand valve is designed in a way that creates minimal breathing resistance to the patient and can deliver high flows when required by the patient.
EASE II O2 is recommended during diving accidents and cluster headache therapy.
EASE II N2O/O2 is recommended during for pain relief therapy.

Microvent Resuscitator
The Microvent resuscitator offers a compact, light weight, easy to use pneumatic oxygen means of providing life saving therapy. The unit supplies an automatic timed cycle with the aid of a manual over ride trigger. With pressure relief as a built in safety feature this unit provides the latest technology with a truly straight forward operation.
Packed in its own carry bag and providing every thing you will need in the event of an emergency, Microvent is the solution to on site resuscitation.
The sales unit does not include an oxygen cylinder and this must be purchased separately.

Smart Bag Resuscitator
The Smart Bag has been designed to allow the provision of consistent ventilations while almost completely eliminating the risks associated with conventional BVM ventilation. The simplicity of design masks the complexity of the technology which makes it so effective.
The unique actuating mechanism hidden inside the neck bushing of the Smart Bag actually responds to the rescuer and patient. The Smart Bag offers, controlled flow rate, controlled airway pressure, controlled ventilation, reduced risk of gastric insufflation and a manual override switch which instantly converts the Smart Bag to a normal valve mask by disengaging the piston. This then allows the Smart Bag to be used with the Lucas Chest Compression Device.
