Anchor Testers

The Staht 60kN Digital Tensile Tester is designed to provide self-generated test certificates that can have pictures taken as proof loaded to your own specifications via the free Staht app using the Bluetooth link.

The app means that you can configure the tests to exactly what you need, you then simply take tension up on the puller by hand ensuring the device is level and then apply the required tensile pull by the 3/8” drive ratchet. Once this has been done the puller will automatically apply the test and issue a pass or fail based upon the results with the results of the load shown on the LCD screen.

The unit has an internal charger that is connected via a standard USB connection and has the option of a climber’s bag or hard transit case dependent on the type of tests you do. The thread adaptors look like the normal ones but the holder is magnetic so even when you are working at an angle they don’t just fall out.

You may need larger bridges to conduct pull tests for the heavier loads and should seek an engineer’s guidance if you are unsure.

The Staht LT Digital Line Testers are designed for load testing cable terminations up to a maximum of 25kN (5620 lbf). Whilst the system is currently configured for 8mm wire rope safety lines (7x7 or 1x19) it can be used for testing any diameter of cable but requires a different holder. Please contact us with details if you require a specific wire rope size. The manufacuture of the safety line will need to confirm the test load required.

The Staht LT has a modular design and it is easy to swap out and use with a t25 load cell. They feature a 360° cable contact to prevent damage to the swage, swing clamp bolts and self-centralising nuts to automatically align the cable clamp jaws.

There is a LT extension adaptor accessory that can be fitted to enable the by-pass of swage slip indicators if needed.

The Staht Connect Reporting App is included as standard and makes the recording of the test results simple with easy access and retrieval on via the app or a web dashboard.

Three Staht LT kits are available for purchase depending on your requirements.

The Staht In-Line Test Kit is a modular unit which works with the Staht t25 load cell to measure force of up to 25kN (5620 lbf) between two points.

It allows the operative to use the force measurement capabilities of the load cell and the Staht Connect App without the need to carry and calibrate a separate measuring device.

Typical tests applications include testing fall protection anchor posts, overhead lifting points and rail systems.

The kit contains:

• 3.25 Tonne Shackle & Pin
• 4 Tonne M16 Eyebolt
• 40kN Carabiner
• Staht padded kit bag

The Staht In-Line Test Kit does not include the load cell which can be bought separately.

The Hydrajaw model 2000 tester is designed for testing all types of fixings and system anchor points.

The mechanical screw acts through a hydraulic load cell which then displays the reading on the dial gauge.

Normal units can test any anchor up to 20kN maximum, providing that it can be sat over the anchor to give a direct pull. We also have a limited supply of 30kN units available for hire.

The clearance between the puller legs is 130mm and has a working height of 65mm with total clearance height of 110mm, although this height can be increased using packers.

The Hydrajaw M2000 Pro kit comes with a large range of accessories to enable you to test a comprehesive range of fixings and system anchor points.
