Anchorage Points (EN795)
KM Girder Loops

The KM Girder Loops are strops with a rubberised wear strip stitched to their back. This gives them unparalleled resistance to hazards like uneven edges and rough surfaces that affect other thinner attachment points.
The KM418 is certified EN795 Class B and fitted with a triangular attachment point at either end. This item should be made to form a loop around the object to be used as the anchor point.
Both the KM419 and the KM421 are also certified to EN795 Class B and have a triangle at one end with a 'D' at the other that allows the strop to be choked. This ensures a tight fit to the item being used as the anchor point.

Sliding Beam Anchor

A lightweight beam anchor with a user capacity rating of 140kg total weight.
The unit can be attached either overhead or at your feet and once installed the sliding beam anchor will follow the worker. Synthetic wear pads eliminate metal-to-metal contact which offers smooth operation of the unit.
The unit is simple to install as it has an integrated ratcheting adjustment system at each end with no external pins or chains. Just depress the locking mechanism, slide the hook ends to fit snugly against the flange and release the locking tab.
The ratcheting adjustment hook ends have a locking tab positioned on the side of the unit to reduce the chance of it being accidentally disengaged from the beam.
The sliding beam anchor can fit beam flanges up to 76.2cm and I beams of up to 6.3cm thickness.

Anchor Post for ISO Container

The Anchor Post for ISO Containers is a temporary anchor for working on top of ISO shipping containers.
The unit is strong and easy to transport and can be quickly installed in the top corner casting of ISO 20-foot and 40-foot shipping containers by one person. It comes with a side lock and tag line arrangement and can be removed without damaging the container.
The post was designed to raise the height of the anchorage point in relation to the ground. When installed on a container, it gives the user a vertical clearance of: the container height + post height, or about 2.59 m + 0.95 m = 3.54 m based on the standard dimensions of an ISO shipping container. The height of the container must be verified before the post is used.
The Anchor Post has also been tested with the force directed horizontally so it can be used with a horizontal lifeline stretched between two posts.
The horizontal temporary lifeline can be used by up to 2 people and has a maximum length of 14m. The kernmantel rope is equipped with a tensioner to allow for the tensioning of it between two supports. There are 2m of red rope at each end of the lifeline intended to be used to prevent access to the hazardous areas at the ends of the container.
The lifeline can only be installed along the length of a container.

Fixed Anchorage Plate

The Fixed Anchorage Plate is a fixed stainless steel anchor rated for one user with a maximum allowable weight of 100kg.
It can be fixed overhead, on a wall or on the floor with M12 bolts to steel structures or to masonry with an M12 chemical resin fastener. The structure the anchor is mounted to must be capable of sustaining 12kN of force in the anticipated direction of loading.
The Fixed Anchorage Plate can be used as an anchorage point for fall arrest, positioning, suspension and fall restraint systems.
If a fall takes place the anchorage is designed to deform so it can be instantly identified as needing to be replaced.
We supply Anchor Fixing kits specific to these anchor points and these are shown below.
Vertical Anchorage D-Bolt

The vertical anchorage D-bolt is designed to be installed on vertical surfaces (preferably metallic) for connection of fall arrest and restraint equipment. The anchorage point may be used by 4 persons at the same time.
The anchorage D-bolt is made of forged steel and is supplied with an integrated 12mm threaded rod to enable fixing to the host structure.

Stainless Steel Anchorage Point

The Stainless Steel Anchorage Point is fixed stainless steel anchor rated for one user.
The anchor point can be installed on concrete structures with a minimum thickness of 180mm and they are secured with an M12 chemical resin fastener. Always check with an engineer that your structure can take an impact loading in the event of a fall.
It provides a connection point for fall arrest or restraint.
The unit is supplied with a tag detailing the serial number of the anchor for ease of identification during testing.
Anchor Fixing Kits

Our anchor fixing kits include resin, 2 nozzles, stainless nuts, bolts and washers for davit bases and height safety anchor points.
We also have the correct sizes of diamond core drill bits available to suit the installation along with ETA resin that is tested for use with both diamond core or impact drill installation.
The fittings provided in our kits are stainless steel so they will conform to water industry standards. Once your installation has hardened it can then be tested using our STAHT Bluetooth tester to the manufacturers and standards requirements so that a certificate of conformity can be issued.
Cone widths do need to be understood and if you scan the QR Code on our kits it will take you to a video of how to do the install correctly and then you are also able to complete a Fischer online test to show that you fully understand how to conduct and test the install correctly.
Ash Safety are a fully authorised Fischer Distributor and can supply any of their fixings for other tasks along with a Fischer CDM check using their latest software to ensure that cone strengths will take the loadings that you may be creating during your lifting process or if a fall takes place onto your anchor point.
