Mobile Anchors
Mobile Man Anchor
The Mobile Man Anchor is perfect for a quick temporary EN795 attachment point. The unit is very easy to install and is modular with the largest item weighing 25kg.
It is designed for use on flat or sloping roofs it can be used in conjunction with fall arrest devices but comes into its own when used for fall arrest purposes.
The set up shown is for a 1 man fall arrest or restraint system and comes with 4 base units coated for anti-slip and 6 galvanised standard weights giving a 250kg base total.
Extra weights can be added for extra personnel to attach and the units can be linked using a safety line to form a temporary line system to cover a much larger area.
Risk assessment should ensure that if using this system the structure is capable of supporting not only the unit’s weight but also any impact peak force that could be caused by a fall.

A-Frame Trolley
The A-Frame Trolley provides a portable suspension anchorage system for industrial rope access and fall arrest purposes. It conforms to BSEN 795:1997, has a safe working load (SWL) of 250kg and has built in shock absorbers.
It is ideal for use on flat roof surfaces, behind a parapet wall with a minimum height of 300mm and a maximum height of 1.8m. If no parapet wall is available, the A-Frame can still be used by tying it back to a suitably tested anchor point. As there is no need to penetrate the roof surface when using the A-Frame Trolley it removes any need for alteration to the building.
The A-Frame Trolley is entirely portable and can be dismantled into easily transportable sections which are quick and easy to set up. It can also be moved sideways by one man when installed which can reduce the need for re-rigging.
Deadweight Trolley
The Deadweight Trolley (DWT) offers a flexible, versatile and cost effective alternative to a fixed anchor point anchorage system for industrial rope access and fall arrest purposes. It is designed to be used behind parapet walls or other suitable and structurally sound construction capable of lateral and compression forces (minimum of 450mm up stand is required). It conforms to BSEN 795:1997, has a safe working load (SWL) of 250kg.
It is a standalone unit that has no requirement to penetrate any surfaces or make alterations to building aesthetics.
It is easy to assemble and simple to move from location to location with each component weighing no more than 25kg. It has a footprint of 400 x 500mm so is ideal for working in small spaces. It can be manoeuvred during use by one person minimising rigging time.
The Deadweight Trolley can be used in many applications such as:
- Rope Access
- Lifeline or Cradle Installation
- Short duration work on roofs such as inspections, cleaning or painting
- Emergency Rescue
Sala Mobi-Lok
The Mobi-Lok is a vacuum attached anchor point that was primarily designed for the aircraft industry, but in reality has a wide range of applications. Mobi-Lok can be used on any reasonably smooth surface that will withstand the loading criteria like ships hulls and silos.
Mobi-Lok creates a vacuum over 2 pads using either a compressed air cylinder or external compressor feed. The units can be used as a stand-alone device where a single fall arrest system is required or as a pair with an Ezi-Line connected between them which deploys up to 18.5m of wire rope for 2 person attachment.
Weighing under 10 kilos they are easy to transport and even easier to use. Simply hold Mobi-Lok against the panel you wish to attach to and turn the air supply on. A gauge on the unit will register in the green once the vacuum has achieved the correct setting. If the unit starts to lose vacuum it will sound an alarm so workers are always protected.
