Ladders & Ladder Systems
Ash Ladder Sets

The Ash Ladder Set offers a simple solution to a third point of contact leaving both hands free to operate hand tools. The set adjusts simply and fits almost any make of ladder whilst being easy to use.
The ladder standoff accommodates for pipe work and corners of buildings allowing for three different positions. Stabilisers offer increased stability and the rope strop harness and connector come in a handy storage bag.
The set consists of: one twin point full body harness, 1 x 10 metre rope (ladders of 10.5m maximum) 1 x 1000kg 0.5 metre endless sling, 1 x rope rocker, 2 x screw gate karabiners, one transit bag, one pair of ladder stabilisers and one ladder standoff.
KS 8000 Ladder System

The KS 8000 is a rigid rail system that is designed to be fitted onto ladders to provide a fall arrest system that is easy to use.
The system attaches to the ladder rungs and the worker connects a traveller to their chest fall arrest harness position. The traveller then goes up and down the rail system with relative ease unless the wearer slips. If this happens the traveller will lock onto the rail and stop the wearer from falling.
The traveller has a built-in indicator that shows if the traveller has captured a fall at any time. The system rail has entry and exit points for the traveller and also has a 1.5m arc section that allows the wearer to access the top of the ladder and get onto a safe part of the platform before disconnecting.
This system has a safe working load limit of 100kg gross for the wearer and a specialist quote should be sought for using this type of system.
The system is rated EN 353-1:2014 and ATEX/EX.

KS 9000 Ladder System

The KS 9000 Ladder System is a vertical fall arrest system composed of ladder rungs fixed on an aluminium rail to provide access at height for areas which do not have exisiting ladders.
The system rail has entry and exit points for the traveller and also has a 1.5m arc section that allows the wearer to access the top of the ladder and get onto a safe part of the platform before disconnecting. The trolley and rail entry and exit points are equiped with a non-inverting system to avoid the trolley being installed upside down.
The worker connects a traveller to their chest fall arrest harness position. The traveller then goes up and down the rail system with relative ease unless the wearer slips. If this happens the traveller will lock onto the rail and stop the wearer from falling.

Railok III

The Sala Railok III system is widely used for transmitter towers and other permanent structures where height safety on fixed ladders is an issue.
The Railok III attaches simply to the rail and then allows movement up and down without the need to adjust anything. Should a fall take place the trolley springs back against the rail and bites into it to form a solid lock off that then deploys a shock absorbing pack.
Correctly serviced and maintained this system will gives a great many years of service.
