Guardrails
Guardrails offer a collective protection system which is the ideal solution for any workplace exposed to the risk of falling from height. Acting as a physical barrier, they are placed along roof edges, walkways, or other high-risk areas where personnel may be exposed to fall hazards. As part of the HSE’s hierarchy of control, guardrails are considered one of the most effective forms of passive protection, requiring no specialist equipment or training to use.
With options for straight, inclined and reclining rails which can reduce the visual impact and different fixing methods they offer total flexibility when designing a project.
SK-21 Guardrails
Genesi SK21 guardrails are versatile and modular with more than 20 different types to suit safe installation of varying roofs and structures. The different types are characterised by specific configurations of their components, fixing methods and supports.
Genesi offers guardrails for wall or floor installation, self-supporting or for metal structures including special reclining guardrails.
Most configurations are available with straight and inclined uprights to optimise the visual impact of the collective protection and can be treated or painted to increase resistance in particular environments or simply to better integrate into the aesthetics of the structure.
The guardrails are made of aluminium alloys to guarantee light weight and weather resistance and they come with a 10 year guarantee.
Genesi guardrails comply with the most advanced European technical standards in the sector: EN 14122-3:2016, EN 13374:2019 and they also meet the legislative requirements of NTC2018.

SK-73 Guardrails
Genesi SK-73 guardrails are designed to optimise wall and floor installation on structures with a small fixing area.
They can be floor or wall mounted and there are options for straight or inclined rails.
SK-73 system complies with the technical standard EN14122-3:2016 and the maximum distance between uprights in all types is 1.5m.

Skylight or Special Guardrails
The Genesi guardrail system has the versatility to offer solutions for items such as skylights where a self-supporting system can be assembled on the roof following the perimeter of the skylight.
Protection for access points are another example of the customisation possibilities for guardrail systems.
With gates and corner sections available a system can be designed to meet your requirements.
