Gangways
Walkway systems enhance safety when access to the roof, machinery or other structures is required. They provides workers with a solid, stable surface that reduces the chance of a slip that could lead to a fatal fall. Combining these with handrails provides a strong and flexible access solution.
The inclusion of a walkway system also helps to protect the integrity of the roof surface.
Genesi Allukemi Step Gangways
The Genesi Allukemi Step gangways and overpass walkways are modular systems that create safe walkways on roofs and other structures to guide operators via routes planned following the completion of a risk assessment
Genesi has designed gangways and overpass walkways made entirely of aluminium that are modular and can be configured according to the needs of the route and the type of structure. They make it possible to design: routes with stairs and passages, to traverse steeply sloping sections, to create complex elevated passages between machinery and silos, to overcome obstacles or fragile surfaces such as pipes, plant, machinery and polycarbonate or fibreglass skylights.
The gangways and overpass walkways can also be adapted to the design requirements according to the space available for the width of the walkways (from 60cm to 120cm) and can be fitted with handrails on one or both sides. Ladder inserts can be used at steep slopes or changes the level to give continuity to the gangway. The ladders are suitable for slopes between 40° and 65°.
The Genesi Allukemi Step system conforms to EN 14122-2.
