Load Arrestors

Load arrestors provide secondary protection to almost all types of goods lifting. They act similarly to how a seat belt works. Should the primary device fail the goods will start to fall which will cause the load arrestor to catch the load thus ensuring the safety of the personnel working in the immediate area.

Small Range Load Arrestors

The Sala small range Load Arrestors offers protection to a load from 10kgs up to a maximum of 500kgs. The units can have an activation speed of 0.3, 0.5 or 1.0 metre per second.

Each unit requires an anchorage at the unit and at the payload.

The small range units weigh 8.4kgs and have a working length from 5 to 12 metres with galvanised cable diameters from 5 to 7mm. Special units can be ordered if what you need is not detailed please talk to our technical department.
