Microvent Resuscitator

The Microvent resuscitator offers a compact, light weight, easy to use pneumatic oxygen means of providing life saving therapy. The unit supplies an automatic timed cycle with the aid of a manual over ride trigger. With pressure relief as a built in safety feature this unit provides the latest technology with a truly straight forward operation. Packed in its own carry bag and providing every thing you will need in the event of an emergency, Microvent is the solution to on site resuscitation.

GEC MARS Resuscitator

The MARS Resuscitator ensures that the operator does not have to make judgments on the lung capacity of the patient to select the tidal volume, this is instead done by simply selecting the basic size or type of patient being cared for. Once the unit has been set the MARS Resuscitator will control both tidal volume and pulse frequency within the parameters laid down in the British Standards.

Even if the wrong setting is selected there is no risk of over inflating the patient’s lungs. The Mars Resuscitator always ‘fails safe’ and will vent excess gas whilst giving the operator an audible warning that the equipment is not being used correctly.

The unit we show for sale is the MARS Standard Kit with demand valve and trigger (100 l/min flow), control module (3 settings – Adult/Medium/Child). Pin index regulator with 11 setting constant flow (1 – 23 l/min). ‘Square’ carry bag, masks and head harness.

All MARS Resuscitators require an oxygen cylinder for operation which is an extra.

GCE Smart Bag Resuscitator

The Smart Bag has been designed to allow the provision of consistent ventilations while almost completely eliminating the risks associated with conventional BVM ventilation. The simplicity of design masks the complexity of the technology which makes it so effective.

The unique actuating mechanism hidden inside the neck bushing of the Smart Bag actually responds to the rescuer and patient. The Smart Bag offers, controlled flow rate, controlled airway pressure, controlled ventilation, reduced risk of gastric insufflation and a manual override switch which instantly converts the Smart Bag to a normal valve mask by disengaging the piston. This then allows the Smart Bag to be used with the Lucas Chest Compression Device.

Sked Stretcher

The original and still the best solution for confined space, high angle or technical rescue, and traditional land based applications, the Sked® Stretcher is a revolutionary design which provides outstanding patient protection and security. The Sked® comes equipped for horizontal hoisting by helicopter or vertical hoisting in caves or industrial confined spaces.

When the patient is packaged the stretcher becomes rigid. The durable plastic provides protection for the patient while allowing extrication through the most demanding confined spaces. The stretcher is rolled for storage in a tough cordura backpack which is included with the system. The system ships at 19 lbs and comes complete for most applications.

This stretcher is widely used by the rescue services because of its versatility, it can be used as a sledge in sewers and on hillsides as well as being attached to a winch and lifted vertically. The Sked stretcher comes complete with all of the accessories you are ever likely to need for any emergency evacuation of an injured person.

Rollgliss Rescue Kit

Rollgliss Rescue Kits give you all that you need to control your emergency rescue. Make sure your height safety plan includes rescue, the part most overlooked.

The Rollgliss Rescue Kit is available in varying lengths dependant upon your height safety requirements. Standard sets are; 10m, 20m, 30m, 50m and 70m, but we can also have a set made to meet your specific requirements.

Rollgliss R350

The Rollgliss R350 is the base model which is available in 3 further formats, offering a 2:1, 3:1 and 5:1 reduction system dependant upon your requirements.

The R350 man riding winch can be used for either working or rescue, this unit comes into its own for chimneys, towers masts. The operative can self ascend or lower to his given task, the R350 also allows for a top man to have control, allowing him to recover the operative if the need so arises. The R350 in its 5:1 ratio can also be used to recover 2 operatives at once, making it a very practical recovery system.

The fall required is worked out on which unit is ordered by the ratio, a 2:1 for instance with a 50 metre rope fitted would give a fall of 25 metres, where as the 5:1 would have a fall of 10 metres. We have listed a number of options but these units really need to be built to operational or risk assessment needs.
