Training
Ash Safety, a satellite training centre for South
West Water for all of the City & Guilds Scheme 6150 Courses,
which represents the new standard for Water UK. These schemes
are very stringently monitored by both South West Water and
City & Guilds so as to ensure the very best training is
delivered. All records of training are kept on file so as
to adhere to these demanding standards along with being able
to re-issue certificates should they become lost.
All 6150 City & Guilds courses qualify for CITB grant
aid. Please ask for the grant application form when you book
your course.

Ash Safety has built a dedicated
training room and series of tunnels that comply with
the City & Guilds guidelines, to offer realism along
with a controlled training environment. All equipment
required for any course is include in our prices although
we do ask that candidates come prepared to crawl through
tunnels and chambers if they are doing any confined
space related course.
All of our trainers and assessors are registered with
South West Water and hold the relevant qualifications.
Our trainers are also from an experienced working background
within the industry rather than just being qualified
at training, as we feel that it is important to understand
any question or scenario that may be discussed. |
Our Height Safety Course is designed to ensure safety at
height and was structured by Sala, the height safety experts
along with guidance from organisations such as WASHA (Working
at Height Safety Association). We intend that any candidate
that we train will upon completion of the course feel that
they have gained substantial knowledge, that will lead to
increased safety and help with completing there duties in
a professional manner.
Training can be viewed as expensive, we like to think that
by offering quality training courses that are tailored to
your needs that those costs will soon be seen as minimal compared
to the knowledge and increased productivity the candidates
will generate.
