Sala Portable Davit

The Sala Portable Davit system is perfect where you need entry into a large tank or vessel where the opening is too large for a tripod to span.

The Portable Davit is normally used at the corner of the tank as legs form a 'Y' shape with the davit arm extending out over the opening. The system can have 2 man riding winches mounted to it at the same time or one man riding winch with a secondary back up.

The system incorporates the Sala quick fit locating bracket for easy connection of winches and fall arrest units. The picture shows the Portable Davit with a Sala P-W60L full man riding winch attached

Adjustable Davit Mount

The Sala Adjustable Davit Mount makes it possible to provide a safe access solution where this had previously been very difficult. This can also be used to form a lifting point on to a trench sheet up stand. If used with very light duty sheets such as M6 then a wooden sleeper should be used behind the sheets so as to increase the allowable bending moment.

The Adjustable Davit Mount can be used on any items from 13mm to 610mm providing the allowable bending moment meets 10170 N.M. So for concrete abutments, coffer dams, trench boxes and many other areas this offers a light solution capable of attaching 2 man riding winches or fall arrest retrieve blocks.

Sala 5 Piece Hoist System

The Sala 5 piece hoist system allows the maximum amount of roam for both entrant and top man to control the descent.

The system offers 2 quick fit mounting positions so that 2 full man riding winches can be used and adjusts in width from 940mm to 1626mm . The mast is able to be turned so that it can be taken out of the entrance area, this assists both recovery and lowering goods into the space.

The unit has 4 adjustable feet so as to ensure it is set up flat and will accommodate ground with undulations but is not suited for working on angled ground.

Sala 5 Piece Extra Wide Hoist System

The Sala 5 piece hoist system allows the maximum amount of roam for both top man and entrant.

This system adjusts in width from 1778mm to 2464mm allowing to clear gatic covers and larger manholes.

The system uses the same quick fit brackets as the smaller 5 piece hoist system and also offers the adjustable legs for level positioning.

The mast is able to be rotated and can have 2 full man riding winches used with it.

Sala Counterweight Hoist System

The Counterweight Hoist System is perfect for conditions where an entry point has a raised area around it or far too large to span. This makes the system ideal for large digestion storage tanks as well as long trench shaped confined space areas.

The units leg height adjusts from 200mm to 900mm and length can be increased or decreased so as to use the minimum number of weights for the space you have.

Our sales price includes the counterweight base a 30 to 73cm adjustable mast with 83cm lower mast allowing that 2 quick fit brackets can be fitted so 2 man riding winches can be used. These units are best tailored to your specific requirements so often better discussed with one of our team.
