This course is designed for anyone who uses a portable gas
monitor. It covers all of the basic checks and good
working practice to ensure that sensors are responding and do
not come into contact with chemicals and solutions that are
known hazards. We cover a vast range of gas detectors in
both makes and sensor types. We show how to fresh air zero
and also to calibrate should you require this.The aim of the
course is to ensure that personnel are competent in the use of
gas detectors along with identifying simple faults.
The course duration is half a day and includes a working
handout with all topics that are covered on the course.
