Ash Safety provides specialist confined space, height
safety, training, lifting and manufacturing solutions to the industry.
The company offers an extensive range of equipment for hire and
sales combined with specialist servicing. Ash Safety as a company
strives to provide the latest equipment innovations and support
in each field. All of these practices are supported by the companies
ISO9001 registration.
We are also proud to be registered to and support
Tyco's Anti Bribery policy and advocate these procedures throughout
all of our working practices.
Hire
We carry a vast array of Hire Equipment and try to deliver using
our own vans. These vans are driven by our qualified technicians
who can help at point of delivery and collection if required. We
can usually offer same day delivery to any site within a 75 mile
radius of our depots. Distances in excess of this are often accommodated
where possible. We also despatch via courier for a next day service
to almost any where in Britain. You will find our rates competitive
and our technical back up a real benefit.
Servicing
We have specialised workshops with qualified technicians for whom
the company acts in many cases as the authorised service agent.
Our workshops cater for gas detection, breathing apparatus, tripods,
winches, fall arrest and chain blocks. We carry a large quantity
of spare parts so can offer some of the quickest turn around times
for your equipment. We quote for all equipment prior to repair so
you are always in control of costs. Our service department now incorporates
a bespoke customer tracking log linked to our repair register which
holds records of all tests carried out on your equipment for 5 years.
We now also have our own drop test area so that we can test claims
of product suitability up to loads of 3500kgs.
Sales
We like to feel that we can offer some of the most competitive
prices on new equipment with quite possibly the broadest spectrum
of manufacturers. We also regularly have refurbished equipment for
sale and will tailor a package to your specific needs.
Training
We offer the very latest City & Guilds 6150 confined spaces
training solutions and are proud to operate as a fully audited satellite
training centre for South West Water. We also offer gas detection,
pipe stopper use and height safety courses as well as many more
along with bespoke training solutions.
Medicals
We are also able to offer medicals to water industry standard for
Confined Spaces and Breathing Apparatus. Also available are Safety
Critical Health Surveillance - COSHH, Noise, Working from Heights
and Health Well Being Checks (can include cholesterol levels). Please
enquire for prices when booking your training courses as we may
be able to arrange for them to coincide.
Drop Test Facility
This is the latest addition to Ash Safety to combine with product
manufacture and testing. The test rig enables us to perform and
verify specifications set by the manufacturers. The facility also
allows for exact performance tests where a customer has a specific
