Strops, Slings & Shackles
Ratchet Strops
Our Ratchet Strops have a 2500kg safe working limit with a tested breaking strain of 5000kgs. They are available with different attachment configurations upon request although the standard units we stock have the bar type formed hook at both ends.
The lengths of the strap itself can also be specified but we carry stock of 3m, 6m and 8m.

Webbing Slings
Lifting strops have a designed length and safe weight lift with loops for attachment to shackles or hooks at either end. The attachment points have extra wear strips stitched into them to make their use more durable.
These slings have a safety factor of 7:1 and are available in multiple lengths and safe weight lifts.

Round slings also known as endless slings are designed to be chocked back on themselves where the item to be lifted may not have fitted lifting points.

Bow Shackles
Bow Shackles are cast alloy lifting shackles which offer a wider internal dimension than ‘D’ Shackles. This means they can accommodate larger widths in them with often larger safe weight lifts than the same size ‘D’ Shackles. But due to the fact they are alloy they often scar far easier than machined ‘D’s.
