NC2 Confined Space Kit
The equipment required, other than standard PPE, for entry to an NC2 classified space is a portable multi gas detector, safety harness, escape breathing apparatus and an ATEX light. As a ladder or leg irons should be in place a fall arrest retrieve block with a tripod should be used to provide rescue in the event of an emergency.

The equipment required, other than standard PPE, for entry to an NC3 classified space is a portable multi gas detector, safety harness, escape breathing apparatus set and ATEX light. Where steps or leg irons are not present a full man riding winch with tripod would be required.
