6150-04 Overseeing 2 Day Event for Experienced C.S.E. Personnel

This City & Guilds Training Scheme 6150 is the new Water Industry Standard. All regions participated in its formulation so that it would be accepted anywhere in the country. Each trainee will be trained to a pre-set standard which if successful will lead to registration of a unit which is held on a database at City & Guilds. The successful candidates will also receive a certificate for each unit passed.

The Overseeing Event Objectives are to achieve the following retained knowledge:

• The Overseeing role encompasses the requirements of the top man but also extends to interpretation, planning, supervision, coordination and accountability for the team.
• This also covers work being undertaken in the confined space during both planned work and alarm situations.

The 2 Day Overseeing Event will cover all aspects of planning, equipment choice, emergency notification and procedures relating to current water authority documentation

Certification is valid for a period of three years for this unit should the candidate successfully pass the standard required.
